The second half of 2023 kicked of with a workshop that Ignite Youth Organisation partnered with Dialogue on Shelter (DoS), on the 6th of July at Stoneridge Primary School where the residents of Stoneridge were being educated on gender and cultural norms. The IYO team presented on various issues associated with gender and culture such as equality and equity, sexual reproductive health rights (SRHR), menstrual hygiene, gender-based violence and overall promoting coercion within communities.
Positive feedback from the community was demonstrated through a drama activity that they participated in showcasing issues they had resonated with during the dialogue and the strategies they intended to implement to resolve them.
