IGNITE YOUTH ORGANISATION (Hope Program)
Zimbiru Primary School Stationery Drive
On the 31st of January 2026, Ignite Youth Organisation had the privilege of giving back to the community through a stationery drive under the organisation’s Hope Program. This initiative took place at Zimbiru Primary School in Domboshava, a school that Ignite Youth has been supporting with stationery donations on an annual basis. The organisation’s intention is to continue assisting the school every year, with growth not only in consistency but also in the scale and variety of donations.
This outreach was driven by Ignite Youth Organisation’s heart to support quality education, in commemoration of the recent International Day of Education, which advocates for access to inclusive and quality education for all. Zimbiru Primary School is an underserved institution that provides education to many learners, most of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds.
In response to this need, Ignite Youth donated essential learning materials including exercise books, book covers, pens, rulers and other crucial stationery items. The day began with a learning and discussion session with the children, during which selected members engaged them on topics such as career guidance, appropriate conduct and the importance of pursuing one’s purpose in life.
Following the discussion, the children participated in games and sporting activities alongside organisation members. These activities were intentionally designed to encourage teamwork, cooperation and team-building values in a fun and engaging way. The day concluded with the handover of the donated stationery to the selected learners and members of staff present.
Beyond the material donation, the visit fostered meaningful interaction with the learners, reminding them that they are seen, valued and supported. Moments like these reinforce the importance of practical love and active service in shaping a better tomorrow.
Ignite Youth Organisation extends sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative, including donors, volunteers and the school head together with his administration, for their continued cooperation and support. Ignite Youth Organisation remains committed to creating positive change through service and youth-led action, with the goal of developing young people who passionately pursue their purpose in life.
